Since my early 20s, I was always curious about the mind; how we think and respond in the ways that we do. I read lots of books and attended numerous seminars on the subject; by the time I was 30 I had completed a diploma in psychotherapy, and a degree in Social Work.

I became an IT trainer, and was motivated by the motto: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.?

For me it was about helping others to help themselves, and I applied this principle in my teaching as well as in my coaching; in my opinion this approach is a healthy and independent way to guide my clients to manage their own lives, to overcome obstacles, and to succeed in what they desire most of all.

With over 30 years of exposure in this field, and 18 of those years working as a life coach and business coach, I have worked with many people of all ages and at all stages of life, from teenagers to professionals, to achieve the change, the growth, the personal development to enable them to move forward in whatever way they choose.

My coaching style is direct and compassionate; by challenging and mentally stimulating your mind you are able to work through problems, issues or dilemmas, in new and different ways, and come up with practical solutions to make positive changes in your life.

My goal is to be the catalyst for change in your life so you can step up and achieve the success you desire, and live an amazing life that feels authentic to you.

Career history

From IT training in a training centre to setting up the IT training department in a corporate, I moved on to freelance and this lead to me setting up my own IT training agency, which ran successfully for a number of years before I sold it in 2004.

Summary

My experience is broad and this is what enables me to assist people to make the positive changes they need in their lives. I believe it is important to “walk your talk” and I have set my own goals and achieved a lot of success in my own professional career, which is why I am ideal to help you achieve your own goals. I understand the needs and concerns of busy working professionals. The skills I use for coaching has to date worked in bringing about positive and successful changes and outcomes in various areas including: children with bullying issues at school, teenagers with exam anxiety, physical and mental abuse, lack of confidence and self-esteem, career changes, decision making, relationship dilemmas, communication difficulties; I work with all age groups, and the process is relatively brief and very effective.
