Hello, my name is Natalie Dee, Im a personal life coach… in this video clip I will address a social stress issue, the fear of meeting and talking to other people.

Many people fear being in social situations; they feel self-conscious and uncomfortable and dont know what to say or what to do.

Often they fear they are being judged by the other people in the social setting they find themselves in.

A simple solution is to practice the following technique: when you meet other people, think of two things you really like about them, this could be their eyes, face, smile, colour of their shirt, shoes, watch anything at all?¦

In this way, your focus will change; your focus will be on the other person and not on yourself.

Practice this with strangers in the street over the next few weeks – remember, its only your thoughts that you are dealing with, no-one knows whats going on in your mind, and you will notice how easily you manage yourself in social situations and feel better about them overall.
